The end of the Adv Club as we know it?

According to Jim Hill Media, Disney has plans that will CLOSE the Adventurer's Club and relocate it in a new exclusive NIGHT theme park... with an admission fee of $250 or more PER PERSON.

What can we do to convince the heads at WDW that there are too many loyal fans out here that would sorely miss our wonderful club?? Who do we write? Or... what?

Any ideas?? This sounds pretty much "done".

I can't Beleve that this might...will happen. I have, what, 2000 guests go through at "Larger, grander": Adv. Club would ruin the effect of the current club. The whole intimacy factor would be gone. When someone finds out who to write to tell me because i would write in a heartbeat.

maybe write to the head/heads of WDW and maybe the Head of WDI...if we can?

I would honestly pick Disneyland over WDW anyday if it weren't for the Adventurers Club. It was what kept bringing me back to Orlando. I seriously can't imagine WDW without it. I don't even know if I'll ever be excited to go to WDW the way I was when I knew I would spend my nights at the Club. 9-27-2008 will be a dark day in Disney history, mark my words. We will make sure everyone know how big of a loss this will be by having the biggest farewell party Disney has ever seen!!!

Even though there is a rumor it might move, a few of us have still set up an online petition to keep the club just so Disney knows how many of us LOVE it. It may be futile, but it's got to be better than doing NOTHING.
